In this session, we invite you to deconstruct the concept of decolonization in FSL. What does it actually mean to “decolonize” as FSL educators? Is it possible to decolonize within the framework FSL curricula and supporting documents such as the CEFR? This interactive and dynamic session is rooted in generating meaningful talk and exchanging ideas and experiences about this important and complex topic. The goal is also to provide specific examples of activities that problematize and challenge traditional approaches embedded in FSL teaching and learning.
